Swingstar was always a reliable brand for me. In my opinion, they have the best quality-price ratio. This kit reminded me why I love Swingstar.
It has a high-end look, shiny and elegant. The hardware is solid. Memory locks are included also, something you can`t see often in this price range. But it has something characteristic for this price range - terrible cymbals.
If you get one, depends on the package.
I`m delighted with the tone it produces. A great investment considering it costs about 600$. Great for beginners and even low-ranged intermediates if you ask me. One of the best drum kits out there for sure.
A great set for beginners or practice. It looks like a professional kit. Construction is made of first-rate materials. Shells are made of mahogany that produces a smooth tone. The sound quality is excellent in my opinion. Things you would expect from a company like Swingstar.
The Fusion kit comes with 100% Poplar 6ply 7.5mm shells. The kit has a swivel foot hi-hat stand and Power Grid single-chain bass pedal. Equipment that high-end kits possess. Omni-ball holder gives solid stability. The thing that brings me down is you have to buy cymbals separately. I couldn`t expect more for the money I gave.
