At first sight, they look like acoustic drums. They are built well. I like the ball joints that allow me to adjust drums and cymbals the way I want. The whole kit is actually adjustable. Metal shells add up to the solid look. The mesh heads are another level. They are responsive and have 3 layers. You can feel the difference in sound wherever you hit with your stick.
Modul is a mind-blowing machine. The library is infinite, sounds are customizable. I spent months playing with sound adjustment possibilities. This is one serious mf drums, and the price follows up. But don`t mind the price if you want to get a kit that will serve you, no matter at home or on stage. You can always resel it and get most of your money back, because ... Roland. I don`t regret a second buying it.
I was thinking about changing my old drum kit so I saved some money, sold my old Roland and bought this one. The first thing I noticed was the sturdiness and built quality. It visually looks like it`s built to last.
Drum kit racks are wide so you have the freedom to let your arms and sticks fly over the pads. I like the fact they even thought about cables running from the module, so there is a hidden space inside the rack for cable. It makes the space around the kit look tidy. T
he module is world-class! It gives me limitless options in editing sound. It finally allows me to load my own samples. Pads are super-sensitive and responsive. I don`t mind the price, it is perfect for me.
