Roland TD-17KVX

The best money I ever spent. It’s great. I wanted to go electric so I choose Roland TD17KVX. Modul has a lot of coaching features. Mesh pads make less noise. I like the sensitivity of the pads, the way it catches ghost notes. Also the size of the pads, the stick rebound, everything is amazing. I just don’t like the fact that I needed to buy separately sticks, throne, headphones, kick pedal which cost me like a half of a kit price. Overall, for this amount of money, for now, I don’t have any complaints and I’m glad I choose this kit.

I wanted to buy some electric drums because of the space I need to practice - my condo. So I decided to choose Roland TD17KVX. Roland didn’t disappoint me. The sound is good. The splitters are pretty good. It has a bit slow response to the hi hat. But maybe it’s just me, I do a lot of hi hat work. The thing that bothers me most is the kick-pad. I can’t wait to buy another one. But I am satisfied. I think the kit is totally worth it. I guess if you don’t play anything crazy on the bass drum it would be enough.
