I understand that you cannot get super amazing drums at this price but cmon.
Already after a few months of using I started to have problems with kick drum pad and had to replace it. After that hihats, and I’m wondering whats next.
It’s obvious that the build quality sucks.Lets speak about sound.I mean those samples, come on. I could find only few that I could actually use and also I had many troubles while instaling my own samples which is possible with this set and I was very looking forward to that option since I usually don`t like the built-in options.
The system can recognize limited number of samples and first you need to have them at the exact bit rate and crazy but true you can only delete all imported samples at once!!! How crazy is that? I would believe that if we are in the previous century but really now it should be possible to manipulate your samples how you want. Luckily they werent so expensive but I really expected more.
I was thinking to buy Alesis Crimson or command mesh but in the end the price was reason to choose crimson. If you want a mid range drums for fair price I think you will be satisfied. Here is my pros and cons.
Pros: very responsive mesh pads, huge sound choices and ways to customize sounds, very quiet when hitting the pads so its suitable for night practicing at home haha and its very compact drum if you have small studio or room.
Cons: Cymbals are not so great.bell sounds are not good and they are kinda elastic which gives little bit strange feeling and also sound is not so near to real cymbals like it could be. All in all the hardware looks like its not really solid but the time will show if it can survive my playing.
Apart from hardware issues its quite a good drum very easy to use and have many different sound options which I like.
